What's it's really all about



Why hello, welcome back :)

Since my last post I have been thinking.

Umm, well... that's it.

Just lots of thinking and not much doing.

My ideas for this blog are many - they are all jotted down on my trusty notebook, the notes app on my phone, scribbled on the back of receipts, shared with close friends over mint tea and white chocolate mochas, shouted across the kitchen with my partner and cat. And I may have psyched myself up to the point that I now feel "performance anxiety". So I've decided, to be a friend to myself, take a step back, sit down with you and tell you what this is really all about.

As mentioned in the "The City Lotus - The Story" section of my website, I want this to become a virtual place where you can come to read about new and exciting wellness related events and activities and more, happening in London, which either I have done or have heard about, write my thoughts, and maybe inspire you to try something new, which is good for your mind, body and soul.

I feel so lucky to live in such an exciting city, where around every corner there is something going on. And when you blink and look again, there is something new which has popped up!

Eventually I want to create a database, which will be useful to my readers, showing what you can do, in which areas of London, and to obtain which benefits. What a wonderful website that would be!

With a simple click of mouse, you will be able to check if there is Beer Yoga class on Sunday in Old Street (can be, on request) or an essential oils workshop in London Bridge next month (hmmmm lavender).

But Rome wasn't built in a day, and I know I can be my worse critique.

So let's take it slow, one step at a time, enjoy the journey, and be kind to ourselves.

My aim is to give you a great blog, stay with me. Goods things are coming. Just watch.
